Wow....I can't believe it is already 2009. Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that we had the whole Y2K thing?
Any resolutions? I am working on some ideas but haven't had the time to really think it through. I would love to hear other people's ideas.
I came across a comment somewhere that I think is a bit funny: "I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request." Now, I don't think it would be so funny if one of my children said it to me.
One more very random thought. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Pampered Chef measuring cups:

Happy new year to you, too, Lorri! That line is from The Princess Bride and is pretty funny in context. And my kids have said it, but they know better than to follow through on the disinclination.
Nice measuring cups. I got a nice Pampered Chef muffin pan from a certain Houstonian.
I've not been one to make New Year's resolutions, but this is the time of year that I am most inclined to lose the weight that I will gain again next fall and winter.
Hey, I also got my Pampered Chef stuff from a certain Houstonian. I also bought a new stone bar pan (one of ours has a corner broken off) and a stone mini-loaf pan thingy! Ya know, it has 4 loaf pans in the one stone. Very nice.
So the line is from The Princess Bride, one of my all time favorite movies. I knew it sounded familiar and it does make me laugh.
New Year's....weight loss would be good.
Actually, that is a line from Pirates of the Caribbean!! Since I know you do not like that movie I find it funny you like the quote. LOL!!!
This when Elizabeth, Kiera Knightly, is not 'inclined' to be taken with the pirates......
Hey, those measuring cups look nice. If I were closer to a certain Houstonian, I might get them from her. I love my two pizza stones and pizza cutter from PC.
Happy New Year!
My kids corrected me on who said the quote.....It was Cpt. Barbarossa before he made her walk the plank.
Just an FYI....LOL!!!
Oh, I have had the OXO version of the 1-cup measure for quite a while now and love it. Saw them at EH's "mom of 5" bridal shower and thought they were neat....
